PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag capable of being mounted without hindrance even when a mount space is narrow.SOLUTION: An air bag 17 comprises an upper side lateral tether 44 and a lower side lateral tether 46 coupling a left wall part 22 and a right wall part 23. The upper side lateral tether 44 and the lower side lateral tether 46 are formed of a base material 45 (left side portion 45a, right side portion 45b) and a base material 47 (left side portion 47a, right side portion 47b), and sewing parts 69, 70 for coupling the respective base materials 45, 47 are not positioned on a center of a left and right direction, are positioned on positions deviated to a left part and a right part from the center respectively. In addition when preliminary folding is performed, the sewing part 69 (sewing line SL) of the upper side tether 44 and the sewing part 70 (sewing line SL) of the lower side tether 70 are positioned on positions outside of a gas inflow port 25 of the air bag 17 and inside of a crease VC. |
