PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio base station capable of properly setting a condition of a radio base station according to a status.SOLUTION: A radio base station 50 is configured to execute radio communication with at least one radio terminal. The radio base station 50 is provided with an operation state setting section 51 for setting a condition of the radio base station at any one of a starting condition and at least one of sleep conditions. Under the starting condition, radio communication with the radio terminal according to a first predefined communication mode can be executed. Under the sleep condition, a starting instruction signal according to a second communication mode for which the power required for receiving a signal is smaller than for the first communication mode can be received, and no radio communication with the radio terminal according to the first communication mode can be executed. |
