<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a tool or work for cutting-off a C-channel unnecessary by eliminating the need of cutting an unnecessary part of the C-channel for holding a wire harness connected to a sensor, in a protector attached to an automatic slide door or a back door of an automobile, and equipped with the sensor detecting that a foreign substance is caught in when closing a door; and to save resources. <P>SOLUTION: The protector is composed of a protector main body 13 equipped with the catch detection sensor 7, and the C-channel 15 for holding the wire harness, which is a separated body from the main body 13. A second attaching portion 14 provided on the C-channel 15 is inserted in a flange 2 at a front end of a rear door 1 together with a first attaching portion 4 of the protector main body 13 to be attached. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
