<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner fin for an exhaust gas heat exchanger suppressing accumulation of soot, also suppressing increase of gas resistance and deterioration of cooling performance, and enduring even high temperature exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: In the inner fin, an exhaust gas passage built in a flat tube incorporated in the exhaust gas heat exchanger and formed by the flat tube, is divided into small compartments in a width direction, to form multiple long and slender exhaust gas passages. By forming a sheet material forming the inner fin into a meandering shape wherein bend apexes alternately abut on both opposing inner wall surfaces of the flat tube, partition walls are formed by the sheet material between the bend apexes. The inner fin is composed such that it has a first corrugated shape wherein the long and slender exhaust gas passages are formed between each of the partition walls, and in each partition wall, a second corrugated shape forming a wall face of a bellows structure wherein protruding wall faces and recessed wall faces in a lateral direction with respect to a flow direction of exhaust gas are alternately repeated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
