PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that irradiates a rotor applying heat to a sheet with external light to heat the rotor and an image forming apparatus including the fixing device, the fixing device capable of suppressing unevenness in temperature on the surface of the rotor and an image forming apparatus including the same.SOLUTION: A fixing device 60 is a fixing device that fixes toner to a sheet by heat and pressure. The fixing device 60 comprises: a fixing belt 62; a halogen heater 80 that irradiates the surface of the fixing belt 62 with external light to heat the surface of the fixing belt; a pressure roller 72 that forms a nip part N holding the sheet with the fixing belt 62; and a light diffusion member 82 that diffuses at least a part of infrared ray from the halogen heater 80 with which the surface of the fixing belt 62 is irradiated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
