<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous motor control method and its device that cause no angular error, even when a d-axis current is controlled to a level other than zero. <P>SOLUTION: Variables of state of the state spatial model of a motor contained in a position estimating portion 9, which performs position detecting operations using a voltage and a current of an embedded magnet synchronous motor 7 as inputs to calculate an angle-of-rotation estimation value ^θk of a rotor, include a current of a synchronous motor, the rotational angular velocity of the model, and the rotational positional angle of the model. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
