PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub for nursing care, which can reduce a burden associated with a care-giver's operation of a door member, and which enables a person requiring the nursing care to safely get into/out of the bathtub, without feeling a sense of oppression. SOLUTION: This bathtub 1 for the nursing care comprises: the bathtub 2 which is equipped with a door member 6 capable of watertightly closing and an opening 4 formed in such a shape as to be at least partially cut off; and a door moving means 10 for reciprocating the door member 6 in a section between upper and lower prescribed positions. The door member 6 is equipped with a first door member 31 formed with a cut-off region 30 in a partial area having a part overlapped with the side wall surface of the bathtub 2 and facing to the opening 4 and a second door member 32 having a part overlapped with the surface of first door member 31 and covering the whole or a part of the cut-off region 30, and the second door member 32 is rotatably mounted frontward of the first door member 31. The door moving means 10 can move the first door member 31 to the prescribed lower position where the upper surface of the first door member 31 facing the opening 4 becomes almost the same surface with the inner bottom surface 2b of the bathtub 2.
