The production of synthesis gas including carbon monoxide and dihydrogen using a co-electrolyser (10) which takes water and carbon dioxide at the inlet (14) and delivers said synthesis gas at the outlet (16), implements the recycling of a fraction (F11) of the synthesis gas (F1) delivered at the outlet (16) of the co-electrolyser (10) to the inlet (14) of the co-electrolyser (10). The recycling comprises an adjustment of the quantity (F11) of recycled synthesis gas carried out in such a way as to regulate the temperature of the synthesis gas (F1) delivered at the outlet (16) of the co-electrolyser (10).
