A malfunction preventing structure of electric and electronic equipment and a control method thereof are provided to sense wrong assembling and random separation of a terminal housing and a terminal by an electric sensor installed at an electric wire connected with parts by the terminal housing and the terminal. A malfunction preventing structure of electric and electronic equipment(1) is composed of a terminal housing(42) installed at various parts; a terminal(44) installed at an electric wire(40), which transmits power and a control signal to the parts, and combined to the terminal housing; an electric sensor(46) installed at the electric wire to detect electricity transmitted through the electric wire; and a display unit connected with the electric sensor to display an error code of the parts if electricity is not detected by the electric sensor.
