PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract only a target object and correct the image data to adjust the image quality.

SOLUTION: A signal data correction apparatus has a bandpass filter 105 which extracts signal data in a frequency band corresponding to the boundary between the object and its background from photographing signal data S001, and a RAW data memory 104 which stores the photographing signal data S001. Based on the signal data extracted by the bandpass filter 105, a boundary position information detector 106 detects a horizontal start pixel position and a horizontal end pixel position for the object for 1 line of the image, and a RAW image correction part 108 corrects signal data within the object inside area that is enclosed by the horizontal start and end pixel positions in the photographing signal data read from the RAW data memory 104.
