<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a card detection switch terminal for a connector for a memory card. <P>SOLUTION: A first switch terminal 24 of a memory card connector 10 is equipped with a body part 30 fixed to a housing 12. A contact spring arm 24b is supported from the body part 30 in a cantilevered form. A card engagement part 33 is formed at an free end of the arm 24b. The engagement part 33 is exposed in a card housing space so as to engage with the inserted memory card. A first contact part 24a is formed by being folded back behind the engagement part 33. A second switch terminal 26 has a second contact part 26a. A third switch terminal 28 is equipped with a pair of third contact parts 28a and 28b respectively engageable with the contact part 24a of the switch terminal 24 and the contact part 26a of the switch terminal 26 when the memory card is inserted into the card housing space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
