<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deviation of a supplied absorbing solution and to allow the absorbing solution to pervade uniformly the whole filler without being accompanied by enlarging of an apparatus, an increase in the number of members, and an increase in water supply power, when the absorbing solution is watered from the upper part of the filler to remove a soluble gas using the gas-liquid contact filler constituted of an obliquely corrugated hydrophilic material. <P>SOLUTION: The obliquely corrugated material 31 is constituted of the hydrophilic material, and is used to remove the soluble gas from air under treatment by the gas-liquid contact receiving the supply of the absorbing solution from the upper part. A vertically long slit 32 is provided at intervals in a vertical direction on the hydrophilic material molded in an obliquely corrugated shape. When an oblique angle isθ, an interval Tw of the slit 32 in a horizontal direction is 30 mm<Tw≤1.7×θ+105 mm(10°<θ<80°), and the interval Th in the vertical direction is 1 mm<Th≤0.8×θ+6 mm(10°<θ<80°). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
