RESOURCE ALLOCATION METHOD IN RADIO NETWORK CONNECTED TO MULTIMEDIA NETWORK

A resource allocation method in a wireless network connected to a multimedia network is provided to manage resources with regard to a terminal, thereby providing good quality multimedia services. A terminal(310) transmits a message(DRX-Request message) allowing traffic connection setting to an ACR(Access Control Router) of a WiBro network to which the terminal is connected(213). The ACR requests the traffic connection setting with regard to the terminal to a P- CSCF(Proxy-Call Session Control Function)(211) of the WiBro network to perform a policy procedure with regard to the terminal(S202,S203). The ACR transmits a message(DSX-Response) which informs that resources are allocated to the terminal(S204). The ACR receives a response message(DSX-Acknowledge) about the transmitted message(S205).
