The present invention relates to a windscreen for a window sash, including: a base plate member shaped into a plate having a thickness; a first upper arc member in a circular shape extending to the upper side of the base plate member; a second upper arc member in a circular shape extending to the upper side of the base plate member and located in a space apart from the first upper arc member; a first lower arc member in a circular shape extending to the lower side of the base plate member and forming a single circle with the first upper arc member; and a second lower arc member in a circular shape extending to the lower side of the base plate member, forming a single circle with the second upper arc member, and located in space apart from the first lower arc member. The base plate member is located between the center of the circle formed by the first upper arc member and the first lower arc member and the end of the bottom of the first lower arc member. The first upper arc member, the second upper arc member, the first lower arc member, and the second lower arc member are made of elastomer material. The windscreen for a window sash of the present invention is inserted to the window frame to block wind; has improved durability and semi-permanent usability; is made of thermoplastic elastomer to be environmentally friendly and have excellent flexibility, resilence, watertightness, and airtightness, and superior properties against hydrolysis and ultraviolet rays. Therefore, the present invention reduces energy consumed for increasing the temperature inside a room and reduces replacement costs. |
