PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption.SOLUTION: An image sensor comprises: pixel blocks that each perform photoelectric conversion and have a plurality of pixels outputting pixel signals two-dimensionally arranged; signal processing parts that are in charge of signal processing on pixel signals output from the one or more pixels of the pixel blocks, of the same number as that of the pixel blocks, and are arranged two-dimensionally; horizontal control lines of the same number as that in the vertical direction of the signal processing parts; vertical control lines of the same number as that in the horizontal direction of the signal processing parts; and a calculation part that performs calculation by receiving inputs of horizontal control signals to be supplied via the horizontal control lines and vertical control signals to be supplied via the vertical control lines. The signal processing parts operates according to a result of the calculation.
