The present invention compensates for the deficiency of the function of a second protocol with respect to the function of a first protocol. In the case where a first abnormal state which is abnormality of a path used for a first I/O process is detected, an interface device transmits a first notification indicating the first abnormal state to a server processor by using a first protocol as a first notification process, and the server processor receives the first notification in accordance with a first driver. In the case where a second abnormal state which is abnormality of a path used for a second I/O process is detected, the interface device transmits a second notification indicating the second abnormal state to the server processor by using the first protocol as a second notification process, and the server processor receives the second notification in accordance with the first driver. |
