Said reservoir can be filled with fresh water by means of supply means (8) and the pre-heated contents of the reservoir can be introduced via outlet lines (10) into the treatment chamber (4). The invention is characterised in that the dishwasher is equipped with recycling means (12) that deliver washing liquor from the treatment chamber (4) to the reservoir (6).
