<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage capable of preventing abrasion between the inner wall surface of a pocket and the radial outward-side end surface of a roller even if the radial outward-side end surface of the roller is brought into contact with the inner wall surface of the pocket, and a manufacturing method of the cage. <P>SOLUTION: The cage 120 includes a radial inward-side annular plate 140, a radial outward-side annular wall 151, a plurality of pillars 130, and the pockets 131 formed in the adjacent pillars 130. The rollers 10 are rotatably retained in the pockets 131. The inner peripheral surface 151a of the radial outward-side annular wall 151 is formed so as to be oblique toward a radial outward direction. The radial outward-side end surface 10a of each of the rollers 10 has a spherical surface shape. When the inner peripheral surface 151a of the radial outward-side annular wall 151 and the radial outward-side end surface 10a of the roller 10 are brought into contact with each other, only the spherical center of the radial outward-side end surface 10a of the roller 10 is brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface 151a of the radial outward-side annular wall 151. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
