The invention relates to gas meters protection and sealing devices, which can be used by gas meter installing companies and public gas meter protection device mounting services.The gas meter protection and sealing device comprises a body (1) with profiled contour, on the front side of which is made a viewing window (2). In the upper part of the body (1) are made two semi-rings (3) and (4) for sealing the meter and securing the connections between the flanges of the gas pipes and the flanges of the meter. The device further comprises two fastening semi-rings (7) and (8), which by means of a locking mechanism in the shape of a ratchet form fixed connections with the semi-rings (3) and (4). On the surface of the body (1) and on the surface of the fastening semi-rings (7) and (8) is mechanically inserted a sealing number. |
