This reactor contains a core comprising a magnetic body having a heating effect, and a coil wound around portions of the core. The core has a first core portion having two extremities located at opposite sides from one another, a second core portion having two extremities located at opposite sides from one another, a third core portion having two extremities located at opposite sides from one another, and a fourth core portion having two extremities located at opposite sides from one another. The coil has a first coil portion wound around a portion of the first core portion, and a second coil portion wound around a portion of the second core portion. First core portion cross section S1 in an orthogonal direction to the magnetic flux passing through the interior of the first core portion, second core portion cross section S2 in an orthogonal direction to the magnetic flux passing through the interior of the second core portion, third core portion cross section S3 in an orthogonal direction to the magnetic flux passing through the interior of the third core portion, fourth core portion cross section S4 in an orthogonal direction to the magnetic flux passing through the interior of the fourth core portion, first wound portion length A1, second wound portion length A2, first non-wound portion length B1, and second non-wound portion length B2 satisfy the following relationships: A1+A2 < B1+B2, S1 > S3, S1 > S4, S2 > S3, and S2 > S4. |
