<p>The present invention provides a computer system for simulating a physical system having first and second properties which determine a third, measurable property of the physical system. The computer system comprises a first module adapted to provide a set of measured values of the first property, a second module adapted to generate a set of simulated values of the first property using a given value of a parameter, a third module adapted to deconvolve the set of measured values of the third property of the physical system using the set of simulated values so as to provide a set of derived values of the second property of the physical system and a fourth module adapted to determine whether any of the derived values are negative and, in dependence upon any of the derived values being negative, causing the given value of the parameter to be changed.</p> |
