<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device for an image forming apparatus, which can suppress accumulation of a developing agent in a developing chamber. <P>SOLUTION: The developing agent stored in a developing agent storage chamber 49I of a developing agent cartridge 49 is conveyed from one end side to the other end side of the developing agent storage chamber 49I and conveyed from the other end side to the one end side of the developing chamber 48H, and then circulates from the one end side of the developing chamber 48H to the one end side of the developing agent storage chamber 49I by an agitator 60 functioning as a sending-out conveying means in the developing agent storage chamber 49I, an auger 70 functioning as a supply conveying means in the developing chamber 48H, and an auger 80 functioning as a collection conveying means in the developing agent storage chamber 49I. Consequently, a new developing agent sent out from the developing agent storage chamber 49I into the developing chamber 48H is evenly mixed with the old developing agent already existing in the developing chamber 48H, and accumulation of the developing agent in the developing chamber 48H is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
