PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner hardly degrading its suction force even when dusts are sucked while securing high suction power. SOLUTION: A dust collecting case for introducing air containing dust sucked by an electric blower is in a cylindrical shape and has a suction port for introducing the air containing the dust from a tangential direction and a dust housing part and dust scattering prevention means on the other end side of the suction port, and a dust removal filter inside the dust collecting case is arranged in an air path where the dust collecting case communicates with the electric blower. Thus, by a turning air flow inside the dust collecting case, the dust is continuously turned inside the dust removal filter, also the dust stays in a dust housing part without sticking to the dust removal filter again by the dust scattering prevention means, and an air suction route is secured at all times.
