PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of confirming a taste level or desired time for rice cooking and energy saving level in a selected rice cooking or thermal insulating menu and rice cooking or thermal insulating condition information before actually starting rice cooking or thermal insulating. SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: a menu selecting part 5 for selecting one of the plurality of rice cooking or thermal insulating menus; a condition selecting part 6 for selecting one of the plurality of kinds of rice cooking or thermal insulating condition information; a condition information storage part 10 for previously storing the taste level, the desired time for rice cooking, and energy saving level corresponding to the combination of each menu and each kind of condition information; a control part 9 for extracting the corresponding taste level or the desired time for rice cooking and the energy saving level from the condition information storage part 10, based on the menu selected in the menu selecting part 5 and the condition information selected by the condition selecting part; and a display part 7 for displaying the taste level or the desired time for rice cooking and the energy saving level, extracted by the control part 9.
