PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire positional information during imaging and to reduce power consumption during imaging.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprising imaging means comprises: acquisition means for acquiring the position of the imaging apparatus on the basis of a radio signal transmitted from a first external device; measurement means for measuring the movement of the imaging apparatus by a motion sensor; calculation means for calculating the position of the imaging apparatus on the basis of the result of the measurement by the measurement means; and switch means which, in accordance with an imaging operation by imaging means, switches from acquisition of the position of the imaging apparatus by the acquisition means to calculation of the position of the imaging apparatus by the calculation means. |
