A device for obtaining phytoplankton (microalgae), in which a nutrient solution (3) and a plurality of plates (1) which are aligned vertically and arranged with a horizontal separation from one another are present in a housing (2), these being secured alternately either at the base or at the top of the housing (2) and not extending as far as the opposite wall, in order to form a vertically meandering flow, and the nutrient solution (3) is circulated by means of a pump (4), wherein lighting means are provided at the end of the plate (1) in the region where it is secured, and the plate (1) consists of transparent solid material into which light-scattering particles are embedded such that the light output density is approximately constant over the surface of the plate (1). |
