PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor of a user, and to improve working efficiency by applying desired setting to image data by a simple method.SOLUTION: An image reading apparatus 5 of a compound machine 1 includes: an image reading part 31 for reading the image of an original; a mark detection part 57 in which the combinations of marks to be attached to an original are preliminarily stored with a plurality of patterns for detecting the mark from an image read by the image reading part 31, and for determining to which combination the detected mark is pertinent; and a command setting part 58 in which a plurality of commands are preliminarily stored, and each combination of the marks and each command are preliminarily stored in association for, on the basis of the combination of the marks detected by the mark detection part 57, determining and setting a predetermined command associated therewith.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
