An LCD is provided to use no connector by directly connecting a flexible flat cable onto a source printed circuit board using an ACF(Anisotropic Conductive Film). A plurality of pixel regions are defined in a substrate. A plurality of gate lines extend along one set of sides of the pixel regions, and a plurality of data line intersect the plurality of gate lines. Thin film transistors are constructed at intersections of the gate lines and the data lines. A gate printed circuit board and a data printed circuit board are connected through a tape carrier package where the gate lines and the data lines are mounted. A control printed circuit board(117) applies a control signal to the data printed circuit board through a flexible flat cable(119).
