<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring endoscope system that searches for a measuring position on one image corresponding to a measuring position on the other image and captures an accurate measuring position in a short time, through sub-pixel matching. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes: an image capturing means that obtains first and second images by sampling, in a pixel unit, an image signal at each of points of sight, imaged from a plurality of points of sight; re-sampling processing means for forming a first re-sampling image by re-sampling the first image in a unit narrower than the pixel unit; a measuring-position specifying means for specifying a measuring position based on the first re-sampling image; and a matching processing means by which a measuring position on the second image corresponding to the measuring position specified by the measuring-position specifying means is calculated in a unit narrower than the pixel unit. The re-sampling processing means forms a second re-sampling image in such a manner that a measuring position on the second image calculated by the matching processing means is re-sampled in a unit narrower than the pixel unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
