PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a calculation error is large, calculation and preparation works are complicated and the precision is not sufficient in a method of determining the charge amount of a secondary battery on the basis of a terminal voltage of the battery by using SOC characteristics because SOC is frequently utilized to represent the charge state of a secondary battery, or determining the charge amount by integrating charge current.SOLUTION: In a nickel hydrogen battery, active material of a negative electrode is hydrogen. The pressure of hydrogen gas enclosed inside the nickel hydrogen battery is detected, and a unit conversion or the like is performed to display a conversion value or the like on a display device. According to the display device and method described above, the charge amount of the nickel hydrogen battery can be accurately displayed. |
