PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorized system capable of easily withstanding deformation of a suspension support rod and a wheel itself.SOLUTION: A system for motorizing a wheel 2 includes an engine block, a driving member 6 secured to the wheel 2 and a clutch device 7 connecting an output shaft 8 of the engine block to the driving member 6. The engine block includes an electric motor 11 and is supported by a non-suspended portion of a MacPherson strut 3 of an aircraft for ground movement of the aircraft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
