DEVICE AND PROGRAM FOR DATA INTERPOLATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform data interpolation in a short time by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A data selection circuit 20 selects sequential four data from data stored in a data memory 11. An adder-subtractor circuit 13 computes a difference between adjacent two data among the four data. An adder-subtractor circuit 15 computes two sorts of sums from three differences. A register holds a mesial magnitude of each of the sums. A coefficient computing circuit 17 computes a ratio of data held by a register 161 to the sum of two data held by the register 16. An interpolation data computing circuit 19 computes a product of the difference outputted by a subtractor 132 and the ratio outputted by the coefficient computing circuit 17 and adds second data held by a register 122 to the bound product to obtain interpolation data 22.
