PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hot working facilities and a hot working method capable of performing hot working of material to be worked highly accurately without receiving an influence of thermal expansion.SOLUTION: Hot working facilities 100 includes: a bed 11 on which a hot slab 1 is installed; a rail 13 which is disposed integrally with the bed 11 and is disposed on both sides across the hot slab 1 installed on the bed 11; a working device 14 which is disposed movably on the rail 13 and performs hot working onto the hot slab 1; a weir member 16 which is disposed so as to surround a slab installation region 17 for installing the hot slab 1 on the bed 11 and dams up cooling water in order to form a cooling water pool 15 on the bed 11; and a cooling water supply mechanism 18 which supplies cooling water to the slab installation region 17. While cooling the bed 11 by means of the cooling water pool 15, the hot slab 1 is installed on a prescribed position of the slab installation region 17, a working device 14 is moved on the rail 13 and, at the same time, hot working is performed onto the hot slab.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
