Disclosed are a system for providing waiting time of a traffic signal for a vehicle and a control method thereof. That is, the present invention calculates waiting time of a traffic light located around a vehicle based on reference time information and signal change period information related to the traffic light located around the corresponding vehicle, which is provided from a server, and displays the calculated waiting time of the traffic signal, thereby enhancing driver convenience and satisfaction, reducing costs, and improving operation efficiency of an entire system. |
