<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display which can simply display letters and patterns without using a half mirror and also can easily erase them as needed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The display includes: a plate-like display plate 10 having large diameter through-holes 11C penetrating the plate from the front surface 10<SB>1</SB>to the back surface 10<SB>2</SB>; and a light transmissive sheet 20 provided on the back surface 10<SB>2</SB>of the display plate 10 and almost in the same color as the inner wall surfaces 11C<SB>11</SB>of the large diameter through-holes 11C.
