The present invention relates to a warning method utilizing a motion-sensing device for preventing the loss of a smart electronic device, comprising the following steps: pairing a motion-sensing device with a smart electronic device over a wireless connection, where the pairing over the wireless connection has a predetermined connection distance Lth, and, when the predetermined connection distance Lth is exceeded, the wireless connection is disconnected; setting a first predetermined distance L1, where the first predetermined distance L1 is less than the predetermined connection distance Lth; sensing the orientation of the smart electronic device to serve as a first orientation; by means of electromagnetic distance measurement, measuring the actual distance L between the smart electronic device and the motion-sensing device and issuing a first warning when L1 ≤ L < Lth; when the wireless pairing connection is disconnected, the motion-sensing device sensing in real-time the orientation thereof to serve as a second orientation, calculating the actual distance L on the basis of the first orientation and of the second orientation, and, when L ≥ Lth, issuing a second warning. |
