PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection processing apparatus that increases inspection efficiency of a commodity.SOLUTION: An inspection processing apparatus is provided with: a collation section which determines whether or not the collation section can specify a commodity on an image obtained by imaging a target commodity using an image for collation recorded in a database for collation; and a commodity image registration section which registers identification information of the target commodity and the image in the database for collation while associating the identification information with the image, when the collation section has determined that the collation section cannot specify the commodity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
