PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a veneer constructing device capable of automatically aligning and piling veneers on a prescribed position of a carrying-out conveyor even when the constitution of the whole device is simple and a broad space for the device is unnecessary, and to provide a veneer constructing method using the veneer constructing device.SOLUTION: On a front part of a movable conveyor 42 of an after-gluing conveyor 33 (slide extensible roller conveyor), a non-driving roller 42d (guide roller), which is inclined by a prescribed angle with respect to a width direction of the movable conveyor and arranged close to a standard face (ruler) 42e so as to guide a beginning end of a veneer toward the standard face (ruler) 42e (one lateral part) of the movable conveyor 42, is provided. When the veneer is detected by a veneer detecting sensor 45 (veneer detecting means), an after-gluing conveyor controller 47 (slide movement controlling means) retreats the movable conveyor 42 in a stretched state to a shrinkage direction while normal rotation driving of a driving roller 42a of the movable conveyor 42 is maintained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
