PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque hinge capable of optionally adjusting a friction torque.SOLUTION: A torque hinge comprises: a slide cam member 14 arranged within a first A connecting cylinder 11b of a fixing member 11; a fixed cam part 11f arranged within a first B connecting cylinder 11c of the fixing member 11; a second connecting cylinder part 12b arranged at a supporting member 12; a hinge shaft 13 connecting these members; a first frictional member 16 and a second frictional member 17 with axial right angle arc shape section stored in the second connecting cylinder part 12b of the supporting member 12 while holding the hinge shaft and having each of the slide cam member and a cam part abutted against a cam part of the fixed cam part 11f at both ends. The torque hinge is constituted in such a way that when the hinge shaft is operated to extend or shrink a distance between the slide cam member and the fixed cam part, the first friction member and the second friction member move in a radial direction under a guide action of each of the cam parts, and their outer peripheral surfaces 16a, 17a can adjust a press contact force of the supporting member 12 against an inner peripheral surface 12d of the second connecting cylinder part 12b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
