PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance workability of assembling/disassembling work when the shaft sealing device of a rotary electric machine is maintained by reducing the weight per component of seal ring. SOLUTION: A seal ring 2 for forming an oil film between the seal ring 2 and the rotating shaft 1 of a rotary electric machine is divided, at the part of an outer oil supply groove 2a, into an outer seal ring 2i and an inner seal ring 2j.
