The present invention consists in a device for generating ozone, which has parallel plates. Said device is formed by the following elements: two connectors (1) and (2), two electrodes (3) and (4), two layers of dielectric material (7) and (8), two heat sinks (14) and (16) along with two screws (15) and (17), two sealing meshes (10) and (13), fiber glass and resin. The originality of the invention lies in the form of generating ozone and in the design of the generator device, since there is no ozone generation device in the literature which is enclosed in fiber glass and resin or simply in resin and which uses the ozone generation form based on the DBT principle. The main purpose of the invention is the design of a device for generating ozone with parallel plates, which would be useful for obtaining high amounts of ozone with a compact design and a reduced cost. Said device obtains productions of 0.678 gr/hr., the production being increased when several devices are connected in paralle l. This amount of produced ozone is suitable for purifying water applications, different medical applications (infected wounds, viral diseases, colitis and circulatory diseases) and for disinfecting air. |
