PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin input device and a display device.SOLUTION: An input device comprises a first substrate having a first surface and second surface; a luminous element unit comprising a conductive first electrode unit formed on the second surface side, where the first electrode unit has a plurality of first conductive layers formed in one layer, a conductive second electrode unit formed as a layer different from the first electrode unit, where the second electrode unit has a plurality of second conductive layers, each being of a size that overlaps with one first conductive layer in planar view, and a luminous layer which is in electrical contact with at least a portion of the first electrode unit, is formed between the first electrode unit and the second electrode unit, and is in electrical contact with the first conductive layers and the second conductive layers that overlap with the first conductive layers in planar view; and a third electrode unit which is formed to be insulated from the first conductive layers to detect changes in electric field between the third electrode unit and the first conductive layers that varies according to coordinates of a proximate object positioned to overlap with the first surface in planar view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
