PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink composition for ball point pen excellent in ink stability by good pigment dispersion and capable of forming uniform hand writing without blur over long time even as a pigment-based water-based ink using a shear viscosity reduction imparting agent, and a ball point pen including the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a water-based ink composition for ball point pen containing a pigment, water and a shear viscosity reduction imparting agent and an aminophosphonic acid compound selected from nitrilotris (methylenephosphonic acid), ethylenediamine methylenephosphonic acid represented by the formula (1) or a salt thereof. There is provided a ball point pen including the water-based ink composition for ball point pen. In the formula (1), X is phosphonic acid, carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid or alkyl alcohol having 0 to 5 carbon atoms.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
