PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational operating unit which is equipped with a non-rotational magnet and achieves excellent rotation detection of a rotational operating body.SOLUTION: A rotational operating unit 10 is provided with a rotational operating body 1, a ring-shaped magnet or a plurality of magnets 30, a rotation detecting magnetic body 25, and GMR sensors 31a, 31b. The magnet(s) 30 is(are) fixed to a non-rotational part to alternately form a plurality of magnetic poles. The rotation detecting magnetic body 25 is a magnetic part for detecting rotation of the rotational operating body 1. Moreover, the GMR sensors 31a, 31b detect a magnetic flux which changes with rotation of the rotational operating body 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
