PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely processing an electrolyte including a fluorine compound and an organic solvent.SOLUTION: A method for processing a fluorine-containing electrolyte comprises: a first evaporation process which includes the steps of adding water to the fluorine-containing electrolyte and then, heating the fluorine-containing electrolyte to evaporate volatile components included in the fluorine-containing electrolyte, and collecting an evaporated gas resulting from the evaporation of the volatile components; and a second evaporation process which includes the steps of after the first evaporation process, evaporating volatile components included in a residual liquid remaining as a result of the first evaporation process by heating the residual liquid while feeding a heating gas thereto, and collecting an evaporated gas resulting from the evaporation of the volatile components. The method further comprises: causing fluorine included in the evaporated gas or its condensate produced by condensing the evaporated gas to react with calcium, thereby fixing the fluorine as calcium fluoride; and collecting organic solvent components included in the evaporated gas. |
