Provided is an electrostatic image developing toner which contains a polyester resin and a polypropylene wax, and which exhibits excellent fixability onto a polypropylene film. (1) A binder resin composition for electrostatic image developing toners, which has an endothermic ratio ∆Hcw/w of from 0.10 to 0.80 (inclusive); (2) a binder resin composition for electrostatic image developing toners, wherein the volume-based median diameter (D50) of the entire wax is from 1 μm to 50 μm (inclusive), the volume-based median diameter (D50) of the small particle diameter component of the wax is from 20 nm to 400 nm (inclusive), and the small particle diameter component is in an amount of from 20% by mass to 90% by mass (inclusive); (3) a method for producing a binder resin composition for electrostatic image developing toners, wherein a polypropylene wax is added into a reaction system before addition polymerization in the production of a composite resin that serves as a binder resin; and (4) an electrostatic image developing toner which contains a binder resin composition set forth in (1) or (2). |
