PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grindstone that is prevented from being damaged during grinding and that is able to prevent, by virtue of a simple mold, significant damage to a work piece, resulting from excessive cut into the center of the work piece.SOLUTION: A grinding stone comprises a plurality of Vitrified bond grind stone chips arranged on the outer periphery of an annular base metal, and grinds a work piece with the grind stone chips while rotating the annular base metal. Each vitrified bond grind stone chip has a shape of a rectangular parallelepiped having a rectangular grinding face located opposite the annular base metal and used for grinding the work, and four side faces adjacent to the grinding face, in which four ridge parts between the side faces are C-beveled. A long side of the grinding face is disposed along the outer periphery of the annular base metal. The four ridge parts are C-beveled in the range of 1/5 or more of the length of a short side of the grinding face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
