PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a printed matter with which occurrence of bleeding and stripes is suppressed and for which sufficient printing density is ensured in printing on a permeable medium by an inkjet printing method.SOLUTION: In a production method of a printed matter, in which printing is performed by an inkjet printing method using an ultraviolet-curable ink or an electron beam-curable ink, a step to apply water repellent treatment to a surface of a permeable medium is included and printing is performed on the permeable medium after application of the water repellent treatment. The permeable medium is a fiber fabric, a knitted fiber fabric, a napped fiber fabric, or a napped knitted fiber fabric.
