PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quality of a display device by forming a contact of a source electrode of a TFT and a reflector by single deposition and patterning using alloy containing at least Al, Nd and Ni as an electrode material. SOLUTION: In a display device constituted by arranging thin film transistors provided by every pixel and at least one layer of insulating film for covering the thin film transistors on a first substrate and providing a first electrode and a first transparent electrode for covering the first electrode on the insulating film, the first electrode consists of the alloy including at least Al, Nd and Ni, is electrically connected to the thin film transistor via a contact hole of an insulating film layer and is arranged in a predetermined pixel area on the insulating film. By constituting the display device as such, the number of processes such as spattering and photo lithography is reduced and generation of faults is suppressed in a liquid crystal display device by which high quality display in which flicker can be suppressed is performed.
