PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for changes in domain of a document or in condition of life when imparting an attribute value to the document. SOLUTION: A document attribute value imparting device for imparting attribute values to documents includes: an object document acquisition means which acquires a first document to which an attribute value should be imparted; a teacher data acquisition means which acquires teacher data being a set of second documents to which attribute values are imparted preliminarily; a similarity calculation means which obtains similarities between the first document acquired by the object document acquisition means and second documents acquired by the teacher data acquisition means; an attribute value imparting means which uses similarities obtained by the similarity calculation means to select one second document from the set and imparts an attribute value imparted to the selected second document, as the attribute value of the first document; and a teacher data addition means which adds the first document to which the attribute value is imparted by the attribute value imparting means, to the set.
